Last time I’ll talk about these
We had small group here at our house last night and I made these for dessert. But, in making them, there was a minor freak-out – I didn’t have enough sugar. In between quick searching of recipe sites and talking to my mom, I decided to substitute brown sugar for white granulated. I also did not make it GF, instead just using all-purpose flour.
Hea.ven.ly. (If I’m allowed to say that about my own baking, lol) It came out almost pie-like. It was incredible.
I also used a different icing – I made a Royal glaze (recipe to soon follow) and it just made this dessert even better!
