Cinnamon Spelt Cake

This is on the to-try list for my sweet boy…(find other spelt flour recipes here)

1/2 cup margarine
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup Spelt flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup ground almonds

Cream together the margarine and sugar, then beat in 2 eggs.
Add the flour, baking powder and cinnamon.
Mix well, and pour into a greased baking tin.
Mix together the remaining egg, sugar & almonds and spread over top of cake.
Bake in an oven preheated to 350 for 30 minutes.
